On Disintegration & Integrity

The themes of Saturn in Pisces can feel like unspooling and spooling simultaneously. Saturn is such a fine looking planet, sharply defined by its rings. When I think of Saturn, I see a classic tuxedo pressed and ready to wear. If you look closely, though, with Saturn in Pisces, you see the stripe on the pants is not as shiny as it used to be, the shirt collar is going soft. Maybe you would rather wear a comfortable tuxedo, so you can bend down and pick up a child or dance in the heat and not worry about sweat stains. Maybe you'd like to sit in the flower garden and smell the gardenias, put your face in the petals. What is formal? Pertaining to form or essence. What is more essential than immersing yourself in scent or touch? Maybe the integrity is to be found in the disintegrating fabric over time: one suit containing an entire history, memories of all the people whose forms it fitted.

We played a simulation game at work the other day called Barnga, where the rules were partially written down and changed based on the table you were assigned. Players could not speak to one another, and the game "keepers" gave us mixed messages. This felt a lot like living with Saturn in Pisces or living through the transit we are all undergoing. Perhaps we found the game less stressful because we are all immersed in this transit; perhaps it would have been more stressful if we were strangers.

I happen to believe Saturn in Pisces is preparing us for immense changes that are occurring on Earth and within our systems, which will quicken in pace and scope in the coming years. What house is Saturn moving though in your own chart? What planetary bodies are or will be in aspect? How can you work with this unspooling/spooling tendency? If what is real is fluid, then how do we know the difference between real and unreal?
